When it comes to college football, television exposure has a significant impact on everything from recruiting, to national rankings, to national awards. Longhorn fans will once again have the unique opportunity to be a part of some of that exposure as ESPN's College GameDay broadcast is set to make its third appearance in Austin this weekend to cover the No. 2 Texas versus No. 10 Texas Tech game. In addition to College GameDay, ESPN2's national weekday morning show Cold Pizza (M-F, 8-10:00 a.m., ET) will be live at Texas this Friday, Oct. 21. The location of the set will be revealed soon, so stay tuned to MackBrown-TexasFootball.com for more details.

The last time the show was broadcast from Austin, it attracted thousands of Longhorn faithful to Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium prior to the Texas-Kansas State game in 2003. No. 13 Texas defeated No. 16 Kansas State, 24-20, that day. On GameDay's previous trip to Austin, No. 18 Texas upset No. 3 Nebraska, also by the score of 24-20, and went on to claim the Big 12 South Division Championship.

Since 1993, College GameDay has been television's definitive and comprehensive college football studio show and has traveled most weeks on college Saturday's to the day's big game and has been met by large and enthusiastic crowds. The one-hour program with host Chris Fowler and analysts Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit airs live on ESPN each Saturday at 9:30 a.m. (Central). The show covers all college football angles, issues and game previews.

On Friday, Cold Pizza co-host Jay Crawford will be joined by veteran sports columnists Woody Paige and Skip Bayless. The show will do its "1st and 10" segments live at the ESPN College GameDay Built by the Home Depot set. The ESPN GameDay Radio show also will be stationed on the UT campus this weekend.
