commerce sulpher springs??

what happened to commerce last night? rumor has it turner's wildcats got all over the tigers! any truth?

That is just about how it was. SS scored twice in controlled part of scrimage and Commerce did not score. Believe the scores were on a couple of 35 to 40 plus yard runs.

The Tigers had several good plays offensivly, but could not put anything together. Looked like Cron was working on passing game mainly.

In the live quarter SS scored 1 time on a good drive. SS was running a no-huddle spread, ala, Ennis and doing good job. Tiger defense looked good with some good hits but as one could expect, not ready to defend this type of offense. Commerce did not score in the live period. First drive Tigers drove to about SS 20yd line and stalled. Missed FG attempt.

Looked like the scrimmage will give the Tiger coaches and players something to work on for next couple of weeks `til Sep 6.

Sulpher Springs did look good, well coached and played with lots of enthusiasm.
