Geez, I know...and i don't have a DARN thing to talk about!!

Vet93 and I had our half-time meeting all planned out and then this strange wet stuff came from the sky!

He called me after it was cancelled and had sent his wife and kids home and was gonna catch a ride with his dad, so he was there til the bitter end. Evidently, since he is a vet, he has "emergency" duty tomorrow, so he won't be able to come to the game!!

Well, we dropped our first one by a field goal in the final seconds too! Unfortunately they got to kick it again after we blocked it the first time. Lost to Raymondville 31-28.

I just read about that - what a heartbreaker.

I learned something new though - I didn't realize a game couldn't end on a defensive penalty!!

Yep, that's definitely true. Pirates will rebound. These kids are just getting used to each other. For the last four years, Sinton had a very close knit group that had been together since Jr. High. Turnovers killed us tonight, they'll turn that around. Might take two or three more games.

I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow - (oh, it already IS tomorrow) to hit the big 1000!!

I may not have watched a game tonight, but I am wet, cold, tired and ready to go to bed!!

Sorry to hear about the loss. But, sometimes losing a close one helps to bind a team together. The last two years Forney lost to Aledo and had a great run the rest of the season. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Seriously though, out of my 1000+ votes, you can go back and look at everyone of them and you will NEVER see where I have bashed a team or any of their players.
Greenwood was the underdog most of the year last year, and won games no one thought they would. I never got on here and rubbed it in anyone's face. I always tried to be humble and gracious, as I was raised to be.

On the other hand, when poster's attack other posters with profanity, you can bet your butt I will have something to say!!

If you don't want to be a target, then don't get on here and set yourself up to be one. You WILL NOT win!!
