This was just in a friendly game played in California. I am glad I didn't buy a ticket. The two teams played uninspired soccer. Both teams had chances but the real competitive mind frame appeared absent. Of course also Ally Wagner wasn't playing which didn't help. Australia was probably happy with the tie but it made for dull soccer. They mainly played defense to keep the USA from scoring which doesn't always work but it did today. Dull, uninspired and boring soccer today resulting in a most unsatisfying conclusion. It would have been more fun to watch paint dry or grass grow. I am glad Sinton 66 didn't watch this game because he would have seen women's soccer at its worse in my opinion. :(
