The young Tigers won last night in Giddings against a previously undefeated Buff squad 23-12. At one point the Tigers lead 20-0 late in the 3rd. The Buff's returned a kickoff inside the Tiger 20 to lead to thier first score in the 4th period and had another late td on a hail mary pass in the last few seconds of the game.
Giddings is the only team that the Tigers didn't defeat last year with the game ending in a 8-8 tie. Too many missed opportunities inside the 10 yd line. Different story last night......
The win moves the Tigers to 5-0 on the year (12-0-1 overall). Great job Tigers. Next week we have another undefeated team with the Smithville Tigers coming to town.
Now it's time for the varsity to finish the week off.
