Gus Horne first team all state! Didn't make first team all-district. How did this guy slip under the radar? All- state stats were incredible for a D-lineman. What's the story.

What's the story.I don't know too much about his performance beyond what I saw in the Giddings La Grange game. He made two defensive plays stopping the Leps inside the 10 on fourth and short and on a 2 point conversion. I believe he won the game for the Buffs that night. He is a tall and athletic OLB, a real player.

Hey Pud, was he an OLB or a DL? All state team has him listed as a DL.

Hey Pud, was he an OLB or a DL? All state team has him listed as a DL.Well I'm told by my son who played opposite him most of the game he was a defensive end but the Giddings defense shifted around so much I guess I was mistaken. He was #12.
