Details are sketchy right now....but about 45 minutes ago there was a wreck in Greenwood.

One boy, a senior, has sadly died. One boy, a sophomore, is in critical condition.....the other 3 I am not really sure about.

From what I have heard, half of Greenwood is up at the hospital right now.

Please pray for the families and our community!

Just got back from the Greenwood Baptist Church.....it was an awful sight to behold.

Evidently, this was a one vehicle accident (heard it was two to begin with). Both boys up front were wearing their seatbelts....none in the back were.

Two in the back were ejected, one died and the other has been airlifted to Lubbock in critical condition.....it's not looking good for him right now.

The driver walked away with a cut to his head. The passenger has a broken hip, I believe....and the boy in the back who wasn't ejected (he MAY have had his seatbelt on) has a broken arm.

KIDS!! Jerking the wheel when someone is driving is NOT a laughing matter and can get you killed!! I don't know how many times this truck flipped!!

Kellye,
Please pass along our prayers and sympathy from here in Monahans. Our rivalry is intense but at a time like this, that is of no importance. We are thinking of everyone touched by this tragedy.
