This article is about some of the injustices still going on there. Unlike Jimmy Carter President Bush will not have the pressure of getting reelected in 2008. It is a possibility that we might boycott the olympics.

China will still have a poor human rights record whether we boycott the Olympics or not, Phil. I say let's participate and show the world again, much like in the 36' Olympics, what the best athletes from the greatest nation on earth can do.

It's crap screwing the athletes by boycotting. For most it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. AND as I recall the USSR boycotted the next one held here!

Anyone that thinks boycotting the olympics makes a difference just doesn't know history.
