WO-S is going to try and play in two weeks, but their district is history. Maybe they can move us to another district

If their district is history, then what happens to them during District play??? Are they just out of luck for 5 weeks? Then after a 5 week layoff go into the playoffs???

they should play... imo... some distict games if possible... because if thats the case as you said... then any of the 3 district teams that can muster their team together... will be in....

well, I dont know what to say. Ive talked to a coach and they say they and UIL have a plan. The stadiums are toast. Im sure they will move games around to fit other stadiums in. As long as its not Barbers Hill:D :p

WOS should be delited to play at b/h stadium .It is a great field .I hope that wos has the oppertunity to go to the playoffs for even with a little attitude they have ,they are one of the best 3a teams in the state. It is dissapointing that they may not get to play all their games .Best of luck to all the football team.

Can't believe they let a little ole hurricane ruin a football season. That is totally unTexan. Give them people up there somethin to cheer about!

Orangebloobs.com did an interview with the WOS QB and he said:

I talked to (head) coach (Dan) Hooks today and he said we're going to play something like three games in 12 days," Beasley said. "We're going to treat our district games like a playoff game. Everybody is going to play like three games or something and then the best out of those three games will play each other. The winner of that game will be the district champion. Then I think the others are going to be separated by point totals or something. It's going to be crazy."

varsity basketball (this is how it is in forney) is tues and fri nights (for district)...so 4 games in 2 weeks...

before district, we could very well play 5 games in a mon-sat span when we did well in tournaments...

Things are definitely shaken up in East Texas. Who knows when the schools will be back up and running? And who knows how rusty some teams will be after having all this time off? Plus, there may be some kids that move to a different town. All it takes is one or two and that can make a huge difference when you're only talking about 20-25 kids.

is it a possibility that things would get back to normal around baseball season at the earliest?

I don't think anybody really knows right now.

Electricity is the main thing right now. Once that comes on everything else will move at a much more rapid pace. I think after Celia it took about 3 or 4 weeks to get power to all of Sinton. After that clean up went pretty quick.

As a matter of fact I think we were even able to start school on time. And Celia was one mean mother.
