It is about two minutes before halftime and LSU is whipping Tennessee 21 to 0.

Tiger Stadium of LSU was originally built mainly on the efforts of Huey Long while he was governor of Louisiana. There are many rumors or corruption and illegal activities by Long and his henchmen. One thing must be remembered though was that when he became Governor of Louisiana that the State had very poor automobile roads and while governor he improved the roads considerably.

There was a movie made in 2005 for tv called All the King's Men based loosely on Huey Long's Life. It was a remake of the great 1949 movie by the same name that won the oscars for best picture and best actor (Broderick Crawford). Also nominated for best supporting roles were John Ireland and Mercedez McCambridge. Sometimes the movie is shown on TCM television.

I guess you haven't been thru Shreveport!!!! I went thru there a couple of years ago. I'm talking pot holes the size of man holes on I-20!!! Not just one or two but dozens!!! But I did hear they recently fixed alot of them. But I still don't wanna go thru there again!!!

yeah they stormed back, took it too OT, and then after lsu settled for a field goal they drove it up the middle

There were some penalties that could have been called on some of the plays but it seemed to me like they evened out over the game so that one team probably didn't get an overall advantage from the officials.

I gave up at Half time and watched some of the MNF game. I missed a great come back.

This game sure was better then MNF. Heart goes out to LSU, they did have thier chances.
