y is burnet still #1??? they only won by 29 points, forney, in the last 3 weeks has won by 50, 38, and 34....they should move up..... :D :D :D :D

I don't think he was being sarcastic. Read his posts, all he does is whine. I tink that the rankings look about right except even though Marlin is off to a slow start they should be in the top 25 at least. Just my opinion.

Marlin is a great team..once they get into district play and get back to full speed...they'll be back in the top 25.....let me tell you though...when they play Ennis on Friday...it's gonna get ugly...

We are 4-0 and we beat everman again this year, i woulda at least put them in the top 10, but it is your opionion and YOUR top 25, so it's all good.

Come playoff time, Kennedale will be ranked in the top 10. Our defense has gotten much better, and our offense contiunes to shine...

I think Kennedale is pretty high.....who would you put Kennedale ahead of???? All 12 teams ranked above Kennedale are very good teams in their own right...

Compudyne, I'm not trying to put anybody down. All I am saying is that Kirbyville hasn't played a high caliber team yet. Diboll beat Carthage and they're not even in the top 25. I'm sure Kirbyville has a good team. How good remains to be seen. I hope, after what I've seen on this board, that the Kirbyville players put as much energy on the field as they do trying to get respect. Respect will be earned (or not) on the field.

I hope our guys don't read these things, because since week 1 we've climbed in everyone's poll gradually and have hit 30 in CS, 23 in your's and 24 in Data Poll... I don't want them to get 'happy' or anything... Our road's looking tough...

If Gonzales doesn't make the playoffs, we're going D1 and would have to play Wharton in the first round and Burnet in the second... There's a possibility if we go D2 that we'll have to face RC in the first round, but if we win district we for sure are not going to have to worry about them until later...

Tough road ahead, for sure... Just can't wait to read the DCTF next year when it says 'Cuero, returning starters, o/d, 9/9...

No, I have not seen anybody play this year. These oberservation are based on what I've heard. Which is what most polls are based on. You have to go on stats. Nobody sees all the games.

Rice Consolidated lost to Belville...that's why they're still a top ten. Forney was way down after their one loss, but just look at the last three weeks and you'll understand why they're in the top ten.

Frist of all, a poll means NOTHING....it is a ranking of how teams have done that particular week...why does it matter? Why do people have to say that Burnet needs to be moved down because we have only beaten people by 34 or 38 points and some other team did by 50? That sounds a little selfish and whinny. Why not leave Burnet where they are and see if they WORK they way down instead of moving them down because of some pride issues of other team supporters. If moving them down and putting someone else above them makes all of you happier than go ahead, but don't think it will bust any pride. I bet there are amybe two people ACTUALLY ON the team who reads this post and all it will do is make them more determined to move them back to the well deserved #1 spot. I know Burnet can be beaten, why move them down when they have already proven they can whoop up on other teams...And about Marlin putting in some of their JV players so as not to emabrras Burnets team: Pathetique.......just shows a mad team supporter wanting revenge.... Move down Burnet and when people don't whine, you don't cry yourself :-)

Why is Chilldress number 25 ya they are 5-0 going into district play. Who have they played noone at all. They can beat up on 2a teams and when they played a 4a tem they strugled. Thhy swtched to the spread offence this year and think they are somthing to be reckon with. Their QB manley doesnt like to get hit at all they have some tall WR but it sitll doesnt matter. They might get in the third place spot to make the playoffs. If they beat the Steers they canbe considered a top 25 team. why arn't the steers in the top 25. They have only lost one game which was to Sweetwater. They are a whole lot better then they were back in week 2. this team is starting to click. Whoever doesn't thinks that the steers will win district then they might need to rethink it.
