Certainly not the two jokers in the picture. I seriousy doubt that those two could play for any of the top teams in the state. They look like they could be good on a kick coverage or maybe a JV o-line.

Is that why one threw for over 2000 yards and the other is the leading TE in 3A? Yeah you're right, they aren't that good!

What was Rios' TD to INT ratio?

Did anyone say anything about our QB or tight end? Okay no, some people are total idiots i swear. An how can you even judge a persons talent by what they look like. You sir are the biggest moron ever. QB Luis Rios threw for 2153 yards on the season an TIGHT END Jamie Garcia had 773 yards i belive one of them might be. An sure its easy to throw in burnets case an extra 1000 yards when all you rely on is passing. Diboll also 7 diffrent kids over 300 rushing yards a piece. That may not be good by your standards but for a turn around team like diboll that is a really good start to another good program in our case.

Burnet also has a rusher over 13 hundred yards..and a few others in the 3 and 4 hundred range

Dave Campbell's 3A's 5 finalists for the player of year award:

Bull's-eye:
Congratulations to the 5 finalists for the 3A player of the year award. This years finalists are:

Derek McKenzie QB Gilmer
Jordan Shipley WR Burnet
Curtis Crew RB Huffman
Harold Runnels RB Bellville
Sirvincent Rogers OL JasperJackk, one should be safe to assume that SirVincent Rogers, OL Jasper, should make all-state based upon Dave Campbell's 3A's 5 finalists for the 3A player of the year award.

But, you can't take that to the bank. Last year, Jorrie Adams of Jasper made probably every All-American team around, including Parade, and most All-state teams in Texas, selected to and played in the Army All-Star game in San Antonio, and on and on and on, but DID NOT make the AP 3a All-state team! Go figure. So don't be surprised if some very deserving youngsters do not get their recognition.

When do they list the all state team and how are they elected?
