What's up with Vista Ridge not wanting to play and allowing Liberty Hill to get a forfeit?? I read something about the Leander Schools being used as shelters for the Hurricane Rita evacuees. But the game was scheduled for Liberty Hill!!! That's crazy!! BTW,my cousin works for the Hutto ISD and she said they have OVER 800 evacuees mainly from Houston taking shelter at the Middle School. The are gonna open up the HS as well. WOW!!!

This is LHMom, not LHPM, but yeah - story was because they had evacuees, but we think they were SKEERED! :)

Numbers I heard on the radio around 5:30 were that Austin had about 20,000 folks in shelters and Williamson County (where we are) had about 9,000 in local schools.
