Well H-J will probably be the best test of Cardinal power until they meet WO-S: probably for the District Championship again. For some reason H-J gives a lot of teams fits but Bridge City seems to handle their running backs very well.
We will see how the Cardinals will react with all the destruction and lose of homes and jobs of parents, etc: I hear all but one(and that one a great football player) will be back to play for BC; somehow...
Yes, a lot of distractions from concentrating on football and yet this is an opportunity to pull together in the midst of a misfortuitous situation for the HS and the storm-devoured community.
They have been kicked out of the Polls, I assume because they had to evacuate and could not get together for practice, but the real Poll is the playoffs and they will be in good shape by that time.

Should be an emotional game for both teams.

are the games being played in the day due to a lack of electricity or lack of lights?

I think lights in most cases. Electricity is back to 98 percent of previously reported outages.

Most light poles are damaged as well. Hardin Jefferson and Anahuac are the only 2 schools in our district with lights. We play at HJ Tuesday at 6p.m.

BC is like all towns in that part SE Texas..they take tremendous pride in their sports, especially football. I bet you guys have a packed house and play the game of the year. Good luck to both teams.
