A survey conducted somewhere asked fans what sport has the greatest post-season. The Results--- 1. Hockey 2. Baseball

Guess I'm just too much of a football fan to go along with that---maybe I need to broaden my horizons as a sports fan.

i think it should be hockey first, then baseball and basketball would be tied for second. then probably NFL playoffs. if there were more teams to give one or two more rounds in the NFl then i think it would definately be football.

This was something I heard the last part of on 103.3 ESPN radio, 3AFan. I think they were talking about Pro sports.

I can't get into the NFL too much as it is, too many egos...

I'd have to go with baseball, then basketball, cuz I just don't like hockey...

I agree with about the egos. That's why I love College & High School Football so much. Now,if we can ONLY get College Football to adopt a playoff system!!! Yeah,I know. I'm DREAMING!!!

if you have a team in it and know most of the rules, hockey, hands down.

Hockey is great.
You can see how a series can change by a play or two. This is monumental stuff if you follow Hockey regularly. It allows each person to appreciate the true "ebb and flow" of this sport in the playoffs, for sure. I do enjoy when this happens.
The same can be said of the NBA to a certain extent. While it's rare that series' are decided on a play or two, like that in the NHL, when two equal teams meet it is more pronounced in its delivery. For instance, when a goalie blocks a game winning shot I do prefer to watch an NBA center or forward make a decisive block into the stands. Also, when a NHL forward makes that game winning shot for your team you do celebrate but you don't actually leave the couch or chair like when your NBA team makes an emphatic dunk or big "3" to win it at the buzzer.
I grew up watching the NBA and that seems more excitable to me than something that is exciting but less relatable.
