Volleyball scores 10-11-05

Sinton was up 2 games to none in Ingleside and 6 points ahead in game 3 when the wheels flew off!!! :mad: Needless to say there will be no district title in VB this year. Hopefully they can rebound and get 2nd. They beat Goliad on Friday and were looking good against #1 (in dist) Ingleside and then they stopped talking and started making mental errors. I wasn't there for the 1st game, but the rest of the scores were: 27-25, 21-25, 23-25, 15-17.

The newspaper showed AP beating Ingleside (maybe last Friday) 16-25, 25-23, 25-14, 16-25, 25-10.

The article says that AP will play Sinton this Friday, but doesn't say when/where. Wonder if it is in AP or Sinton? Do they try to coincide the football game and volleyball game locations?:thinking:

Canyon Lady Eagles #3 in the state swept again yesterday. They are going for their 3rd straight undefeated district title. Then they have to get past pesky monahans.

Cuero lost a heartbreaker to Yoakum 15-13 in the final fifth game, it would have put cuero in the driver's seat for the final playoff spot behind Yoakum and Luling. The lady gobblers beat halletsville 15-13 in the fifth last friday, so now it looks like luling, halletsville and cuero will all vie for the third spot in district!
