Wylie basketball is a joke. Thye play NObody 2A schools until district starts then squeak through district play and somehow win a couple fo playoff games.

These polls mean nothing and this poll proves it year in and year out. The TABC poll has gotten progressively worse the last few years and this might be the bottom of the barrel for those guys. There's several schools who have no business being anywhere near the top 20, but there they are for some reason. There's at least two teams from 10-3A who have top 10 talent on their rosters, but the season will bear that out I guess when they play some of the teams who are in this poll.

the last time i checked winning in the preseason, winning district, and then winning in the playoffs was the mark of a good team, but maybe i'm wrong
