I really enjoyed this weekend for sports! I watched the Gainesville Leopards win their game Friday night over the Sanger Indians. On Saturday I watched the Texas Longhorns beat the Sooners on t.v. And on Sunday there were two games I really enjoyed on T.V. I watched all of the 18 inning's of the Braves and Astros game and what a game that was!!!! And last but not least, The Dallas Cowboy's put it to the Eagles. A perfect sports weekend to say the least!!!

texans lost yet again...and the o-line couldnt stop the titans from putting 7 sacks on carr in the process, but i dont even care anymore because i was at the astros game 3 and 4, and UT handed OU their butts on a silver platter. ;)

The Packers beating the Saints is a plus? Booooo!

I agree with the original poster of this thread, though... overall it was a great weekend for sports. My remote control finger is sore from going back and forth between the Cowboys and the Astros! :D

And don't forget the Corpus Christi area finally got ABC on Direct tv so we don't have to use rabbit ears and put up with a poor reception. :)

I pause one game for 30 minutes, then I watch the other one and then you can fast-forward the commercials. I didn't miss a play on either game.(Astros and Cowboy's)

I would love to but I just can't justify paying for a VCR on steroids monthly. I used to have a TV with picture in picture. But those are getting hard to find in "smaller" TVs anymore.

big up & downs for me:

Greenwood - - - up 21 in 1st half; lose by 1
T Tech Red Raiders + + winning TD w/ 12 seconds left
Astros + + + 18 inning walkoff HR
Cowboys + + love to beat those eagles and TO
Yankees - can't win every year I guess

7 +'s, 4 -'s Not a bad sports weekend
