did not matter if it was 9 innings or 19 innings, Nolan Ryan never changed expressions...does he ever get excited...

Ask Robin Ventura if Nolan gets excited, he should know.

lol We have an autographed picture of when Ventura charged the mound and Nolan "protected" himself.. it says "Robin Ventura, the only man to get 6 hits off Nolan Ryan in one game" :D :D

I got me some tickets to this game, and oh boy, was it a fun one to be at in person! Probably the best $50 for two tickets i've ever spent! Kinda like a double header for the price of one.. The two grand slams (1 ATL 1 HOU + 2 HOU HR's) was just amazing. I plan on trying to get me some tickets for the upcoming series with the STL Cards :)

I watched every bit of this game, but on t.v. I wished I was there in person to witness that game! I remember that long game in 1986 too. Go Astros, beat the Cards and head for the World Series!!!!!

I'm not sure when they will show it but I have a feeling this game is going to be an ESPN Instant Classic shown on ESPNClassics. I think the Wisconson vs Northwestern football game will be also.

theres no doubt that this is one of the TOP 5 games ever played in MLB history. it BETTER be an instant classic.
