District Coaches and Officals will meet Monday to finish the District schedule for the rest of the season for District 24 3A. The good news is we're playing, the bad news is we lost a few players at WOS thanks to Rita. Hopefully they'll return before the Playoffs but doubtful. We were 4-0 against very good 4A and 3A teams before the damn storm. We start practice Monday at 4 p.m. and play Anahuac Friday at 3 p.m. After Friday we're supposed to play Hardin Jefferson Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week then Hamshire Fannet the following saturday before getting back on track. If any of this changes i'll update Monday afternoon.

That's good that yall are getting to play.

Where did the players you lost go? To other schools?

I know we have 5 kids (no players) going to school in Greenwood right now that were displaced by Rita!

We lost 1 to Humble another to Richmond Foster. Not sure where the 3rd is at. Our good Jr. Running back Thomas may not come back. His house was destroyed and they are still out of town. We're looking for places for his family to stay. If we lose him we'll have problems in the playoffs...:crying:

Goodluck to 24-3A hopefully everyone will get back on track. Keep us updated on the weekday games I may have to come catch some of them. WOS and BC are having a good season this year. Did BC lose anyone?

Bridge City is currently 3-0 on the year, and West Orange-Stark is 4-0. Neither team has played any games since 9/17. So, both teams are still undefeated on the year :D -- The only team in District 24-3A to have played since the storm is Anahuac that I know of.

Anahuac is very blessed to still be on the map. That storm mercifully shifted to the TX/LA border where it made landfall.

Thank you. We lost our press box and one tall metal light pole. Hopefully our lights will be fixed within 2 weeks. We'll have our new schedule Monday afternoon.

Yea our pressbox didn't make it. Our stadium is a 5A size stadium as we were 5A in the early 80's. It seemed to do ok.
