IP never quit and battled back to at least make it respectable. Breck sounded very good! (Listened to it on the radio)

Graham beat Hirshi 42-6. We pulled our starters in the 3rd and didn't score anymore after that. We had 2 40+ yard field goals that were close, but thats it.

Sure hope Hirschi doesn't get thir first win this decade against Vernon. It has to come some time?

Heatley was the diff. in this game. Had like 250 yards passing and 90 something on the ground.
Big plays seemed to kill the Hawks in the first quarter.
Any thoughts from the Iowa Park fans??

We stunk. Gave up the big pass numerous times. I don't think Heatley had a pass for less than 30 yards. Played the run ok other than a couple of breakdowns where Heatley was left unaccounted for. Offensively, we can't throw it and everybody knows it. Pack 11 in the box and hope the Hawks don't get lucky seems to be the defensive philosophy against us of late. Something had better give quick or this team will lose out. Still wondering why our coaching staff continues to try to ride a broke down horse at QB. We should have played musical chairs at QB long ago until we found a player that could at the least hit an open reciever. Don't get me wrong Riley is a great kid and a great athlete, I just think he would be better suited in a different position. Line the Hawks up with Riley on one side and Fulfer on the other with a QB that can throw it just enough to keep a defense honest and our season would be an entirely different story. This is just my opinion and we all know about those, everbody has one................ evidently there is no one that the coaching staff has confidence in to do the job or they would have made a change. I know those guys, played for several of them. In all reality they do a fabulous job. The pieces just haven't fallen into place this year like they have in the past few years.

Yeah, the Hawks are just not clicking this year. It's real shame because they have some good athletes they just haven't been able to put it all together.
