I'll buy your pick on the Snyder game....however, much to my dislike....you may be underestimating Early. They are much better than we usually see from Early. Most of the "in the know" crowd are picking Early to beat Ballinger. Especially after what Greenwood did to the Bearcats last week....however, being the homer that I am....I will pick the Bearcats by 1. Of course I am also the guy who thought that the Greenwood/Ballinger game would be close....so take what I say with a large boulder of salt!

salt it is. :D
Two teams with 4-1 records, Ballinger lost to a quality 3a program, and arguably had a down game to lose that bad.
Early has played a couple of good teams; and lost to one of them.
I know Early's head coach; he's a real nice guy, and it's good to see them having some success. But anyways, I might be a bit optimistic but the home-field Bearcats have the adavantage tonight and will win if they score more points. :D

OK since Bubba Joe didn't wanna get scorched, burn me:

1: Ab Wylie @ Sweetwater. Which Bulldog team shows up?Mustangs by 3. Guess i shoulda said which Stangster team would show up. Didn't know they had so many injuries.

2: Lamesa @ Pecos. Tornaders upset the..uhm I don't remember Pecos mascot. Well I got this one. Eagles plucked by StormWinds 10-7. remember Lamesa was darn good in 1999... kinda sad to see a former 4a school fall off this much. What's wrong in the cotton patch?

3: Ft Stockton @ Monahans. Lobos by 21. and then some 46-0

4: Greenwood @ Seminole. Injuns better than their record shows, but Rangers defense hangs tougher. Rangers by 14.
Whoops, Injuns 40-39. I was a homer on this one. Seminole is a pretty tough team.

5: Littlefield @ Lubbock Cooper. Pirates over Wildcats by 14.
Well, by 4 anyway.

6: Levelland @ Muleshoe. If Mules running game keeps ball away from surging Lobo spread offense. Mules by 21.
49-15 Blowout by da Mules..Misled by Loboes Sweetwater game. Loboes ran the spread really well on their 1st drive, then mysteriously quit passing and tried to run the ball. Lobo coach must have thought he was back at Stratford. Couldn't run on the Mules D, and couldn't contain Mules running game.

7: River Road @ Borger. Bulldogs chew up Wildcats by 28.
Whoops make that by 45.. 51-6.

8: Dalhart @ Perryton. Rangers violate Federal endangered species list; obliterate Wolves. by 35. Even worse; total extinction at 65-6.

9: Iowa Park @ Breckenridge. Green Hawks by 14. WRONG>>>

10: West @ Comanche. Help me here, these two are off the Caprock and I don't know either of them.
I wasn't kidding; I still don't know who won this game.

11: Friona @ Dimmitt. Chieftains take heap big Bobcat scalp by 35.
Yep.

Longerhorns gore Bearkats, just as Vet predicted.

Snyder whoops up Clyde, as everybody predict

This is hard. BubbaJoe, git outta bed and do yore job next week.

Anybody got any hangover remedies for poor ol' Bubba? How about drinking a warm glass of gin with a hair in it?
