has anyone had the privelege of being taught or coached by the Head coach of the Javelinas? i had a weight training class with him and think he's a great one. very cool and pretty intimidating. at least back in the early 90s he was. saw this on caller.com and thought it was a cool pic.

Cove coach Jack Welch had accepted the AM-K job 5 years back, then on the drive to K'ville he changed his mind and is still leading the Cove program ... great break for Cove

I would not want to mess with Cundiff. I have heard various stories about him (not all flattering) and would just want to make sure of where I was treading around him. Good luck to the Javs.

thats news to me. i was told Cundiff was Coach Harms right hand man and his pick to pass the torch to. no second thought to it. very interesting to hear about Welch.

I still call it A & I and I live way up in north Texas. Hard to depart from the strong tradition of football at A & I. Darrel Green was still playing until a couple of years ago and I can't even start to name off all the great talents to come out of that place as well.

You are right there Green. I still remember the fun Karl Douglas years. Karl made it in the NFL as a backup QB for several years and Dwight Harrison who was his favorite receiver was some player. It is ironic but in the pros Dwight was used as a defensive back.
