Way to go freshmen! Great game on both sides of the ball by the Panthers. Defense held the Bulldogs to one 1st down in Q1, one in Q2, NONE in Q3. Fourth quarter, a personal foul penalty on us gave them their 3rd 1st down of the game and they earned two more that series. The defense did hold them inside the 20, to give us the ball to close out the game.
One note, there was a very bad cheap shot on a Panther player who was down. His legs were sort of bent back and the Bulldog player kept pushing up & down on his middle well after the ball was dead. It was obviously not seen by the refs, but # 2 was hurting some in his back. I believe he's okay, but please keep him in your thoughts.
