Next year is way way too far away. Let's talk about THIS years football first.

Very young, and probably very fast.
Realignment blessed us with a very favorable district for a rebuilding year, so the playoffs are a virtual certainty.......I hope.

Daingerfield will lose 11 on offense, and have about 5 back on defense. The only thing is they will replace the offense with 10 or 11 seniors again this year. Pretty good when you can do that in 3A. The last 2 years have yielded 12-3 and 9-2 records. Cinderella teams have ended our season the last 2 years as well. So look for the tradition to keep rolling for us in 04. Maybe this is the year we put it all together.

Ours looks pretty tough too:

August 27 Taft Home 7:30
September 3 Gregory-Portland GP 7:30
September 10 West Oso Home 7:30
September 17 Beeville Home 7:30
September 24 Cuero Cuero 7:30
October 1 Orange Grove Orange Grove 7:30

September 3 to September 24 is a rough stretch. Only Taft on this list missed the playoffs last year, and they just barely missed. That is a traditional rivalry game that predates dirt. Then, two very good 3A's and two very good 4A's all in a row.
