My son is a member of the 8th grade football team that has yet to loose a game. The only game they did not win was to Giddings in the 7th grade and it ended in a 8-8 tie. No excuses they just let one get away.

I know the percentages are mounting each week as they get older and all teams continue to improve. I am partial to them as I have a special interest in them.

This year has been a little rocky as they lost 2 starters off of the OL. The starting center and starting left guard moved over the summer. The center was a pretty good sized kid but the guard they lost was a special kid. No names but he was 6'1"ish and about 235 lbs and could run. That loss hurt.

That is the story.....

RIGHT!! the Hippos and the Badgers...the only thing worse than those that i have heard of are the Pt. Isabel Tarpons...or fighting Tarpons as they are called...hahahahaha

I lived in Baytown from 1989-1993. If we would have remained there my 2 sons would have attended Baytown's Robert E. Lee High School and would have been Ganders. Their fight song was Go Gander Go......
