It's released around 2 p.m. on Mondays, but sometimes doesn't get out until late Monday - like 10 p.m. news. I used to work as a reporter and had access to the AP wire, so I know it's out by now. If it wasn't out by 11 p.m. or so Monday, it wouldn't make the Tuesday paper. It's just a matter of finding someone with access.

Sweetwater and Abilene Wylie are better than Snyder, and if the previous week's games havn't displayed that to everyone then the people still thinking Snyder is better than both those teams refuses to look at the facts, and knows nothing about a good team or a bad team (not saying Snyder is a bad team, they are a GREAT team)

It's a poll....what does it matter? It'll work itself out when we play. I don't care if we are 20, as long as we still get the W's. That's all that matters. AP....move us down to 20. Then whoever is 21 can gripe!

I think Snyder should be ranked higer than Sweetwater --------just because sNyder has an N as their second letter and that comes before the W in *sWeetwater* according to the alphabet ....thats my tiebreaker sorry to be so technical but you know us football pollmasters have our way's to settle things:nerd:

Kinda like going to the horse races and picking the horse because you like the color or the horse and the Name.. It sometimes works. I think people need to know the ap poll is not the BCS. you cant compare schools by how bad one team beats a common opponent. Last year Sweetwater was beaten by Lubbock Cooper first game of the year. Snyder beat Lubbock cooper. Sweetwater was beaten by Wylie, Sweetwater beats Snyder, Snyder beats Wylie. In the playoffs Snyder beats Sweetwater.
In college ball TCU beat Oklahoma. Then TCU gets beat by SMU.. If Texas played SMU they may beat the crap out of them. Oklahoma may turn around and beat Texas... Bottom Line..

You cant guage a team on how how bad the beat anyone. The only true indicator is head to head matchup.. But, if it makes you (Sweetwater and Wylie folks) feel better and more confident go ahead and make your self really comfortable.:D

yeah, im serious too:rolleyes: Sweetwater got moved ahead of snyder, that is my highlight of the semester, not acing the organic chem exam or doing good on the anatomy lab practical, but KNOWING that sweetwater is now ranked above snyder:rolleyes: :D
