the game is being moved from friday to thursday at 7:30...we just got told today...i dont really know why but people have been speculating about the hurricane so we think thats the reason...

The Varsity game between Sinton and Cuero has been rescheduled for Thursday night at 7:30pm at Pirate stadium in Sinton. All pre sale tickets will be honored. This has been confirmed by Mike Roberts, so it is official.

The game will be played on Wednesday, with half of the concessions proceeds benefiting Katrina victims. The bands will not be performing at halftime as donations will be taken for the yet to be named Hurricane Rita relief fund. The game will be televised live on ESPN 3 at 730 central/830 pacific. There will also be a fireworks display preceeding the game. The show will be on the east end of the stadium just on the other side of the Sinton Housing Authority. Enjoy!!!

It looks like I am not going to make the game either. Because of the storm there is a mandatory emergency meeting scheduled for Thursday at 700pm and is expected to last a while. Good luck Pirates. Hopefully I can make it back by the 2nd half or at least catch the radio broadcast or updates on the DL.
