Whatever the problem was, it seems to be gone now. Thank goodness! It was taking FOREVER to bring up a thread.

Typically when parts of the web have problems, re-routing of the "web" takes place. This is usually what causes "slowdowns" that some of us are experiencing. Some are effected and some are not. Frustrating nonetheless...:(

I wasn't having problems with the 'Low, but my technological ineptitude is creating mental problems of magnanimous proportions. :(

I have loaded, an am using Mozilla Firefox and an e-mail called Mozilla Thunderbird. I was previously using Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.
The results are a quantum leap: it appears that the latter two are getting swamped because of worldwide usage and are always in a re-routing mode of major proportions.
You may want to try the loading of the free Mozilla(Firefox & Thunderbird); they also have a lot of nifty navigational freebies that are quite unique.
I, like many, do self-directed investing(mine is via Charles Schwab Co.) and it got to be a problem on the time it took to make multiple stock transactions. I have been able to cut my time down significantly on the time usage/per results on the internet.
I live too far out to have some of the newer cable etc: services, but the Mozilla stuff have really sped things up--I would suggess that you try it...
