i think you can safely say that any team that is 3-0 or 4-0 is doing alright so far!

I'd say that the two hottest teams right now would be Cuero and Gilmer!:D I like Gilmer more though!

Now that you mention it Cuero is still playing pretty hot. 27-3 in their last 30 games. Not too shabby.

Gilmer of course. Gilmer is 33-1 the last three years. Not only have they won 20 straight but they also won 29 consecutive regular season games.

obviously i am going to be a little biased towards my hometown but from the stats i have a reason to be.....i say Sweetwater and West Orange Stark are up there in 3A right now...but my knowledge of the other teams outside of west texas is a little low.

The Buckeyes have had D'Field's number the past two meetings scoring a total of 99 and giving up only 20 (and that 20 was in one game).
And after the shananigans (sp?) pulled by those guys from Daingerfield last night at the Gilmer/ Paris game, I feel fairly confident that our fans will be pretty fired up for the game as well.
A group of kids going to watch a future opponent of their school's team play is not a bad idea. But, cursing at the fans and making a huge scene claiming boisterously and obnoxiously that your school's team is going to win rather handily when the two play in the next few weeks, impeding fans from watching the action on the field is unacceptable. Thankfully, the young men were removed.
That, in my opinion, is in no way an indictment on the character of the Daingerfield fans or team. I don't believe that these guys were sanctioned by anyone in the Daingerfield school system to distract the Gilmer fans from watching the Gilmer/ Paris game. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. But it was unneccesary and pointless if you ask me.
We'll settle it on the field in two weeks guys. And I would be willing to bet that y'all won't be sitting on Gilmer's side of the field then.
