Thanks for the score,saw the box score &stats of the game.Wharton defense help B-port to 200 yds of offense,how did they get 27pts?

Mostly because Tigers penalties helped B-port move the ball.

the kicking game can do wonders to you too.... im just saying, don't really know specifics, but punts and what not can help or hurt you.

Extra points for B-port was of no use last night. They only made one, missed the rest they tried to kick but did get one two-point conversion. One broken play on a punt for B-port, but that's another story.

They ran one kick off back and got a short field twice b/c of fumbles. Score was 35-19 until BPort scored with :20 seconds left, they went for 2 and was stopped a half yard short and the brilliant ref said it was good, so the score ended up 35-27. Offense moved the ball most of the night but stalled inside the 20 twice in the 1st half. Were down 0-13 at half! Obviously played better in the 2nd half, D held them to 4 yards in the 3rd quarter! We always seem to be flat for homecoming, good to get the W, even if it was less than pretty.

Lol, bu97, it sure wasn't pretty in the first half, but a win is win and it was a beautiful thing! Was kinda wondering about things the first half but some good adjustments must've been made at halftime. Great defense and #3 was definitely showing he's got some MOVES! The whole team played as a team, once they got it going in the second half. Great team effort, Tigers!

Now, on to this next week.
