Man if I could have found somebody that wanted to bet me Sinton would pull ahead in this game on the strength of three field goals, I would have lost my house tonight. Horrible execution tonight. Maybe we were sand-bagging????:D

off the chain....talk about it. hats off goes out to the defense for doing what they did despite being out there at least 65% of the game. was daniel on the juice?? he couldnt hit a reciever to "save himself". the dude was cranking it 7 yards beyond the recievers. he was running the ball well though, but y did they abandon the run early 2nd half??? id have em run shotgun playfakes to the RB like Texas does with vince young. more hats off to jason garcia for nailing 3 FG's...and the big one late in the game was clutch.

Pirates showed character though in winning. It really basically game down to the third field goal because if we miss it Beeville runs the clock out. Beeville had several big passes dropped that would have made big yardage but we did too so things probably evened out. Coach Sosa had his team ready and almost pulled it out. His son is an outstanding quarterback and is bound to just get better. If Beeville plays like they did tonight they can have a good season. Great Job in Coming from behind and winning Pirates!

Beeville made a great effort so the exes should be satisfied with the Trojans for their galliant effort.

I llistened to the game last night at home. Sounded like a lot of mistakes on Sinton's part, but the defense kept them in. The O-line sounded like they had their worst outing, too. All I can say is "thank God" Jason Garcia can kick field goals from 25-35 yards out. Do you think it might be good if we started to attempt EPAs from this distance?

Congrats Pirates on the win, But man do you have some work to do this week. Everything that was working the past few weeks on offense(running game and passing game fell apart last night). The center caused alot of the problems by hiking the ball all over the place, which through the timing off on the plays. Mistakes on the line, dropped balls and penalties were shooting the offense in the foot everytime they would get a drive going. What hasn't worked in the past few games did last night. Jason and the kicking game were huge last night in the Pirates pulling out the win. He has always had the leg, he was just not consistent. He looked like he shortened his steps up and just kicked with all leg last night. The running game needs some work to open up the passing lanes. Don't know if the Pirates were looking ahead to this week or not, but they were a dead team on offense until Jason put us in the lead. Defense played a heck of a game for having to be on the field for over 70% of the night chasing Sosa and the Trojans around. Get ready Pirates and bring your A game this week for the Gobblers are coming to Sinton.

What a game. I was on the edge of my seat the entire home, though I was at listening to it on the radio. While I was hoping the Trojans would pull it off, I'm more than glad that they made a contest of it. Some would consider a heart-breaker like this to be bad for a team but I think they'll find the motivation to go into district play head first. Congrats to Sinton for a great game.

Congratulations Pirates on your hard fought win over Beeville last night. The lessons learned from pulling out a victory "from behind" in the last two minutes are invaluable, and will serve you well in the future. Championship teams have to be able to win "ugly" sometimes.
