5a, Weslaco is in the Rio Grande Valley between Harlingen and McAllen. He is only a sophmore.

Porter's D had speed but played a little lazy. You have to keep in mind its kind of hard to tackle what you can't catch. Also #12 has a gift to make people miss. Here are some more highlights.

Weslaco is in 31-5A
The Brownsville/Harlingen schools are in 32-5A
and the McAllen/Sharyland/RGC schools are in 30-5A

From what I hear all these districts are going to be mixed up next year.

I have been to many games in the valley not meaning any harm but there is a reason why only a few kids in all of the valley play in college the east tx speed would keep him contained.
