Toni's usual comment to the press after a game was "I kick a touchdown." Sad to see anybody pass on so young.:hairpunk:

Of all the field goals he made I will never forget his onside kick in the Playoff the Cowboys had with San Francisco in the 1972 playoffs. The Cowboys had trouble but with a minute left had closed the gap to within I think four points. Dallas had to on side kick or the game would be over. Fritsch kicked the ball a wierd way but it went ten yards and the receiver bobbled the ball as he was surrounded by a bunch of cowboys and lost it and Mel Renfro recovered. A long pass by Stauback got Dallas to the ten and he passed for the winning td with a few seconds left. RIP Toni.
