first i think it's crucial to bring up some pictures from past smu events

anyone remember this, 1981, when a corp turd pulled his saber on the SMU equivelent of their yell leaders i guess....i guess the CT here really did want them to stay off our "field"

i thought this picture was semi-hilarious

apparently they are as crazy about this mini-horse as we are about revellie
ergo...

now on too the actual football part of this post:

A&M comes into this game completely rested both from a physical and emotional loss at Clemson in week one.....while smu would normally come into this game under the radar, they did beat TCU last week, which beat national championship runner-up OU the week before....

Why A&M will win .....A&M comes into the game still a decent offense and an improving defense....Highly regarded senior Jason Carter looks to make more strides with the aggie offense by being thrown into A&M's splitback one wr/one rb formation that they ran at clemson...look for a big game from carter against the mustangs....as well as from courtney lewis, the junior rb from madison high in houston

Why SMU will win....SMU comes into the game having beat a ranked rival for the first time in at least my lifetime, look out for jared romo, the smu qb who is able to mix it up when needs be and tuck and run, their rushing game is also averaging around 215 yards a game

the deciding factor If a&m can keep senior reggie mcneal grounded and not as nervous as he was in the season opener then look for A&m to roll easily in this one....Kyle Field, also will become an intimidating factor, due to the fact that many of the SMU players have seen at the most 50,000 or so fans in a college football game, but never 86200+....

"Kyle Field is not a stadium, it is an experience. Throw in state-of-the-art facilities, the addition of Dennis Franchione and the best conference in the country, and College Station is the current mecca for college football."
-Dennis Dodd, CBSSportsline.com

My Score:
A&M 35
SMU 6

After Clemson lets hope the addition of Dennis Franchione is not a factor.

AggieJohn why do the Aggies not want anyone on their field after the games at Kyle Field?

It should be very close. Remember SMU beat TCU by 11 points and this was the team that defeated OK in Norman.

i personally don't care, but there are about 20 corp turds that "protect the field" to protect the players and i guess the sanctity of the field, but they normally just dress up and are on the sidelines, however some people get toooooo brainwashed and think that means that they can rush the field....i think that's mainlly it, they don't want anyone, including A&M students to rush the field unless your a fish in the corp running after a yell leader after a win
