I never hear anything about the district Seminole is in...perhaps 3-3A??? It doesn't mean that district is weak or anything but I never hear anything about them...any news about it??

Barring this weeks results 32-3A might be given a vote. La feria is rockin' there, Hidalgo looks decent. Waiting on this week's PI game.
31-3A is looking better than the start of the season.
27-3A?

I HAVE TO GO WITH DIST 8 3A AS THE WEAKEST .1 3A WIN AND TWO 2A SO FAR AND 15 LOSSES

I was thinking that district 26-3A with Cuero, Edna, Gonzales, Hallettsville, Luling and Yoakum would be a pretty weak one this year but we'll see...

Hallettlsville went 12-2 last year, bring back a lot of the defense that got 'em there, Gonzales is on a roll and could really make some noise for a playoff spot which I believe they will... Luling, though they have a new AD/HC looks to be bringing back/up some pretty good kids... Yoakum? Never count them out, they've been driving into the playoffs the last 5 years... Edna went 0-10 last year and are also under a new AD/HC, not looking too good for them...

If it weren't for Sinton being a state title contender, I'd say 30-3A. Seems like the rest of the district is really down this year.

Throw in District 32 and the Devine/Hondo district.

I actually think you have one of the stronger districts in R4. Definitely stronger than District 30. The Bandera/LH district and the WC/Wharton district are the only others I can think of that have that much strength. Hallettsville should be good again and the dogfight for second and third is between four teams who could take out many districts' top teams.

I know we did last year... I believe last year that Cuero only won one district game by more than 16 or so points... very close games... just wasn't sure about this year but I think we're in for another ride...

What made me sure last year was when the old doormat of the district, Goliad (who I believe won one district game from those 4 years in our district) make the playoffs in 30-3A... I was stunned...

throw out gilmer and 13-3a is a collective 3-9, losing to one 1a team and another team that went 0-10 last year. after this week they will be 3-13 cause they are all gonna get smoked again. and ole' dave had us coming in 3rd in district. ha, he needs another hit off of that crack pipe.

29-AAA with the exception of Devine has struggled. Pretty weak district despite the fact that Hondo has made the playoffs more than any other school in any classification.

I just cant get past dist 8 3a,I dont know if the uil put them together just to produce a winner or what ,Most of these teams use to play in pretty good districts.

21-3A is pretty weak, once you get past Palestine there isn't much there. Huntington and Palestine Westwood are whipping boys every year. This year Diboll is 0-2, its gonna be an ugly fight for 2nd and 3rd place in the district.

I agree. Yoakum is usually pretty solid, Luling has had talented teams in the past and Hallettsville has played well. Gonzalez is the question mark there as is Edna. And remember, Cuero did NOT run through district like hellonwheels last year on their way to the Final.... or at least the scores represented close contests.

When you have two teams that go four deep in the playoffs, you know you're a tough district.

I would vote 8-3A closely followed by 7-3A

There is no such thing as a weak district or team. It is just that some are stronger than others. It is like women - there is no such thing as an ugly woman. It is just some are more prettier than others.

Dude, we got our butts handed to us by both Zapata and Orange Grove. AP also got handled by the Grove, and they're supposed to be the third-best team in District 31.

30-3A isn't the "weakest in the state" period...

District 5-2A....Abernathy, DC, Idalou, Lubbock Roosevelt, Post, Shallowater, Slaton, Tahoka. I don't know how they are this year, maybe Da Mules or another Lubbock area person can help. If I remember correctly, in the last year or two Shallowater went pretty deep in the playoffs.

5-2a is definitely the toughest 2-a district in Region 1. It may not have the toughest R1 team; that would probably be Childress or Canadian.
