Columbia vs. Undefeated Teams

I know the first week everyone is undefeated. We started out with Yoakum (0-0), then Brazosport (0-0). Then we played Lamar Consolidated (2-0). Now we play Hempstead (3-0). Next week it will be Barbers Hill....more than likely (4-0). After that Stafford has a weak schedule and will probably be (5-0). Does anyone else in the state play so many teams without a loss? Just a little curious!

Its just a weird coincidence. The only team that surprises me out of the bunch is Hempstead. Don't think many people believed they would be undefeated at this point....

i believe that lamar had a reciever and a defense that gave WC some problems.

i believe that WC will bounce back and have a good year.

Regardless, to be the best you have to play good teams. Looks like WC is doing what they need to ensure their success come district and playoffs.

West Columbia is the only team I am worried about. We upset them last year and I think they are going to be the ones this year to give the upset!

the receiver did give columbia some problems (245 yds. receiving), but the lamar defense didn't do much against the necks (500 yards offense by the roughnecks) we just killed ourselves with dumb penalties

Make no mistake. WC is an awsome team and very well may put an end to Cuero's season this year. I agree with an earlier poster, it may very well be BH's first loss this year. Hope not, but could happen.

Well first Decatur had Burkburnet in the opener, then we played Dunbar in theyre opener, then Gainsville (1-0)now 2-0 and i was told Graham was 3-0 and most likely Abilene Wylie will be 4-0 in 2 weeks after are bye week.

Look,s like Bellville has played or will play teams with good records, except for week 3. If Bellville wins and Gonzales wins this week, it sets up a game with two good records.
