Got my cast off today, still a little bruised and swollen, but the doctor said it could be that way for 5 months or so? :( I am in a brace now, and having to teach myself how to walk correctly again. Start therapy this Friday, and hopefully pretty soon I can put this whole mess behind me!!!

Thanks Aggiejohn, and yes it did!!! I was playing in a charity volleyball tournament last month, landed on it wrong, and tore a couple of ligaments in my ankle. Doctor looked at it and said she wanted a cast on it so that I could not move it at all to let it heal. Said it was one of the worst she had seen. Not good when a doctor tells you that!!!

Ahhhh youth! I can't talk smack brother I did the same thing when I was your age, but a little advise to you. Your young now, when you get older if you continue to aggravate an injury you will pay the price when your older. Of course, in my line of work I have been extremely injured in the past and kept going. Now I actually ache of all those little injuries I just shook off....lol. My entire adult life I have done all the so called cool stuff you see in the recruiter videos, but believe me you will pay the price as you get older, so you might want to take a hard look at your condition. Course, I still do the deed so I understand your mindset, but I know I will be crippled once I am older. Just take a good look at it.
