Some people had asked about a history lesson on this great event showing tribute to the victims of 9-11

I wanted to make a time line showing the history behind this....

September 11th, 2001- Greatest Act Of Terrorism in History in, in that is where nine of A&M's aggies stepped up and decided to show the Aggie support....

September 12th, 2001- Red, White, & Blue Out Idea Formed
http://tinypic.com/do3vy9.jpg

Over Weekend- C&C Creations Contacted & Start Making 15,000 Shirts, they began putting in late night hours to get it done

By Wednesday Night, Had Sold Over 26,000 Shirts And C&C Team Nearing Exhaustion- cc's creation, who if anyone has ever been to college station, knows that they are the beholder of any t-shirt for any event

On Thursday Bring In Last 14,000 From C&C And Sell Out By Noon-some students had not gone to class in a week because they had been constantly selling shirts for this cause

Next Day And A Half- Finding Shirts, Facilities, & Manpower
-i was told at first yell last year about how a aggie father who owned a screening company in dallas used all of his manpower and worked though the night and used his own gas money and rented out a full size uhaul to get the last of the shirts here. apparently there was not a red or blue shirt available within a 100 mile radius of dallas, houston, or college station as of now

Sell 30,000 Shirts In 5 Hours On Game Day-the man power alone to facilitate that scares me, we in my christian frat sold about 400 in a 2 hour period this last year and that was stressful enough
http://tinypic.com/do3wk5.png

Continue Selling 10,000 Shirts W/ Posters In Period After Game – Continue To Sell Posters-that same group of people continued with a fund for the victims well after RWB out
http://tinypic.com/do3w2f.jpg

RC even showed some love too towards the idea....
http://tinypic.com/do3wbt.png

some of those 9 aggies who created the whole idea one month later went to new york to go present two checks to two different funds, and their deeds weren't unnoticed outside of texas

they are going to do a similar thing, sort of, for the SMU game with efforts to help the katrina victims, their are many groups on campus that are trying to make a early maroon out happen with katrina shirts, here's what they look like

No one personifies school spirit and pride like the Aggies.

Made Texas and America proud on that day at College Station.

yeah the whole texags community, which i'm a small member of, is where the whole RWB out idea came from, some of the members from that board acted upon it

For those that remember the outpouring of love that came from Austin after the bonfire tragedy, remember that we are Americans first, Texans second, and Aggies or Longhorns somewhere after that. Lets please keep this string positive for just that reason.
