Still dropping where you are? It's down as low as $2.59 here. That's around a .60 drop in two weeks. Hope it keeps that pace for another month or so. :)

2.79 was what i noticed in Sinton yesterday. it sure does take longer to go down than to go up. i guess its all physics.

I didn't stop for gas this morning, but the gas in Taft and Portland is at 2.69. Sinton should follow soon.

About $1.599 would be reasonable.

auto gas is going down because they are about to kill some people with heating gas. people up north and some here down south are not going to be able to afford propane gas.:(

Is it getting any better in Texas, or is it still staying flat?

Just curious, what is the lowest you remember seeing?

When I was about 7 my best friend's dad owned a station in White Settlement (Fort Worth) and they used to have gas wars (not like in the Middle East) and I remember it getting to $0.17 per gallon at one time (circa 1961).

Anybody remember lower?

Saw on the news awhile ago, that Donald Trump (on Leno last night) offered his services to go and negotiate oil prices on behalf of the U.S. He said if we had top notch businessmen negotiating rather than the governmental "stiffs" we wouldn't be having this problem!

GO DONALD!:D

I paid $2.59 in Odem today! :) It was still $2.67 in the 5 points area. I haven't paid much attention to prices in Sinton. :(

when i buy gas, i dont look at the prices, they make me not wanna go anywhere. so i fill up, then look at my bank accnt later to see how much more i can spend. but it makes me very angry to know that we have to suffer because opec doesnt feel like drilling more wells to alleviate the current emergency.

I ran out Monday with only 2 more passes needed to finish. I had to bite my lip and pay nearly 3 bucks for a gallon of gas to be able to finish up. Weedeater was out of gas too so I just let the edging go.

Why is it we can fill a 20 gallon tank, but when it comes to that 6 gallon gas jug for the lawn equipment it just hair lips us....??? :(
