UT Soccer Team loses to BYU 1 to 0. :(

This was in Utah last night and BYU has a good 5 - 0 team. This will no doubt knock the UT ladies out of the top 25 again. The UT ladies have a good young team but they are now in need of stepping it up to the next level and start winning these close one goal games - especially on the road. Every game they have played this year has been close. They have two critical games this weekend with a top ranked Porlant team on Friday night and Rice on Sunday and both games in Austin. Those that aren't going to a high school football game on Friday and are near or in Austin this weekend let's go support these ladies and help them turn it around because it is starting to get critical with conference play coming up. Go Lady Horns! Turn it around! You can do it!

Aggie Soccer Team to Provide Insight to Eighth Graders

Nearly 100 eighth graders from Hearne Independent School District will have the opportunity to hold a question and answer session with members of the 14th ranked Aggie soccer team at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

“This sounds like a neat field trip,” commented A&M head coach G. Guerrieri. “Everyone involved with the soccer program is always excited to be able to positively impact a child’s educational experience.”

The children will arrive at A&M in the morning and visit other campus departments before coming to the soccer stadium after lunch. Once at the field the group will be broken down into smaller segments, allowing the students and Aggie athletes to focus more on individual questions; providing the students an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the time and commitment involved in being a Division I college athlete.

That is positive good news AggieJohn. Please keep us updated. Also please let us know how the team is doing. I think they are a top ranked team and maybe challenge for the national championship this year especially since the finals are at College Station.
