and we shall see how close ole Bubba is to what them college educated newspaper writers have to say this week

#3 Although they are not Bubba's favorite bunch of kittens we will keepem up high till the second weekend in October

#4 They got a bunch of horses in the barns in Sweetwater

#5 This bunch of Bulldogs are mad cause they aint gettin no respect - ole Bubba Joe knows these Wylie Bulldogs will get after folks

#6 Big pile of folks to choose from so just make em all #6
the Yoemen from Cameron
the Buckeyes from Gilmer
the Wimberly TEXANS (see figured I get corrected)

#9 cause we got 3 at #6

No, Bubba---you do a fine job regardless of the redneck personna , and you know polls are like human anatomy---it's all the same parts---just put together differently. (That was a poor attempt to substitute for the old x-rated "opinions" line.) Just wish the board had the ability to support a compiled "pickem'" poll comprised of the best 10 games or so each week and the playoffs. Would be interesting to see who had the best % of correct picks at the end of the season.

I think that would be a great idea. Unfortunately, I can't see that 10 games could be picked that the majority would agree were the "best".

But the real question is - how did a Defense like Lubbock Cooper's who gave up 40+ points to Sweetwater hold Snyder to 20
