Lakeview
@Greenwood
@Aledo
Vernon
@Graham
Decatur

Actually Sinton's schedule is even tougher.

Taft - we were able to win in Taft against this good 2A team in which you throw records away when these two teams play because of the rivalry.

Gregory-Portland - a consistently good 4A :eek: powerhouse!!

West Oso - always a good playoff team! Beware of the Howling Bear! Fortunately we were able to win in the Den of Bears! Whew!

Beeville - a dangerous 4A team that just recently whipped Bishop! Plus they have Coach Sosa who had success at Mathis! He instills such confidence in his players that one time on a widely circulated one of their players put down our quarterback who was none other than Adrian Alaniz who is now a great UT baseball pitcher.

Cuero - No. 1 team in the state. Nuff said.

Orange Grove - always a good playoff team that is starting to win lately too. Very dangerous team.

Goliad - they made the playoffs last year and the game is in Goliad. That increases the risk.

Ingleside - another playoff team from last year that is on the rise.

Mathis - always a tough team that is starting to get its' act together. And the game is in Mathis! :eek:

Aransas Pass - another great team that really puts fear into you. And oh that dangerous quarterback! :eek: :eek:

And don't forget if we are fortunate to make the playoffs (I wasn't going to say anything but I will be extra brief) we will porbably be the smallest enrollment schools there in Division 1. That really makes you want to dunk your hat in the creek.

I know there are a lot of teams with rough pre-district schedules, but I don't see how any of them could be tougher than West Orange-Stark. As another posted refered to it as the "West Orange-Stark 2005 Suicide Tour", it included a scrimmage with Dayton (4A), Jasper (State ranked), Nederland (4A), Bay City (4A), Central (4A), Newton (State Ranked). Right now we have 4 out with injuries, and it doesn't look good. Already had to pull up from the JVs. If it keeps going, by the time district play gets here, we will be pulling up the ST. John's Methodist Girl Scout troop. It's tough right now.

Yes Atlanta does this every year thats why you guys see a 1-4 non district record and think the Rabbs are down.. Trust me they are not..They will be a force in 14 3-A...My Liberty Eylau team plays a hard non district sked but not as bad as Atlanta

Off the top of my head:

Mt Pleasant (4A) L-28-18
Texarkana Arkansas HIgh (5 A I think) W-34-33
Quinlan Ford---(3-A)
Navasota (3-A)
Paris (4-a)

Then that killer district sked which includes Atlanta & Daingerfield.

Not saying that 14 3-A will be around at the end but dont be surprized if you run into some of these down the road.

After several years of pretty easy pre-district schedules, Kennedale has put together a tough one this year. I can't say it ranks up there with some of those listed above, but it's still no cake walk.

Azle (4A) sc.
Decatur sc.
Mansfield T'view (4A) sc.
Crandall
FW South Hills (4A)
Kaufman
Bridgeport
Everman (4A)

Add Dallas Madison from their district 10-3A and you've got some pretty good competition before the playoffs start.
