I love the Texans, don't get me wrong, but if they continue to play the rest of the season the way they played Buffalo today, then I look forward to hearing this next April: "With the first pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, the Texans select....."

But remember that there is 16 games in a regular season. Everybody has bad games and hopefully they will play better next week!

buffalo did have the second best defense last year, so could have been they ran into solid defense. They be ok maybe 8-8 or 9-7 season.

I disagree with you there. I think they will draft another standout WR.

We are still waiting for Carr's comeout year. The expansion excuse is getting old. It's disgusting.

if they keep playing this way they would prolly draft a quarterback.....what they really need is a whole offensive line, god do they ever suck....

Carr is not the problem.. he doesnt have time to set up and throw the ball to save his own life. It is that God-awful offensive line that has been the problem. If they dont fix that offensive line it wil be a longer year than the expansion year for the Texans.

yah....but they will blame it on Carr, people see 2 Ints for this game and think Carr did horrendous, they dont look at the fact that 3/4 the time he threw the ball he ended up on his back, plus 4 other times he couldnt even get it off.....If days like today keep up they will begin looking for a replacement even though it wasn't him....

I think they could trade the pick for a very good offensive lineman.... Although if VY comes out they could use him at WR, or could it be that Adrian Peterson will come out this year?

It's a Houston team.....don't expect too much. How many teams do the Astros plays and you here, "the former Houston Astro closes the game again." If a Houston team gets a good valuable player, they bargain with him and away they go. The NFL is the way it is because of free-trade and salary caps. If you have an outstanding management and coaching staff, you still need some luck to put together a dominant team. This is why there were so many close games last year. The fans like close games, but they would rather their team dominate. There just isn't much domination any more.

As a former Oiler fan, I hated those Steelers.......MAN.....

I think that we need to say it like it is. I hate to be critical of Carr however, how long are we gonna blame the line. QB's need to spot the blitz and make adjustments at the line. Carr needs to get rid of the ball quicker. He needs to audible to quick draws or quick out patterns. We have too many good players to play at the level that we played.
