I think Sealy has a chance to upset Cuero, but only if they can execute correctly. Cuero is a very good team and they will come out to play. I hope Sealy has the right schemes to shut down the speedy run attack. I'll go with Sealy by 6

Sealy continues to play hard, but they are a long-long ways from what they were a few years back.
Fairly quick but not much size along with a new offense that needs a lot of polishing. If Cuero is indeed a #1 contender they shouldn't have much trouble with Sealy. Cuero by at least three TDs.

just because there are sealy posters on here doesnt mean we have to make the game sound like it will be close... you know those boys from cuero are gonna be working hard in practice all week... coach reeve doesnt like mistakes and cuero made plenty of them last night

Cuero 49
Sealy 0

Someone was saying that one of their sub-11 sprinters was playing DE. That's insane.

That was Stephon Hargrove. He ran 10.93 FAT as a freshman. Brandon James ran 10.19 not 10.14. It was hand timed. That converts to 10.44 FAT. He ran 10.43 FAT at the Texas Relays. Fastest 100 meters at any level in Texas last year.

Lining up Hargrove at defensive end is just wrong. DE's should never be that fast.

Hey you will be able to show Cuero how good yall are on friday, No you will show the whole state on FSN how good the tigers are!
(Why would FSN pick this one, as the (blow-out) game of the week?????????)

i witnessed the La Grange/Cuero game 2 weeks ago and wasnt all that impressed by the #1 team in 3a, but they still put it on LG. I then saw the score of the LG/Sealy score and was unimpressed because I played in a few of those games and i know how big they used to be, and when i saw that sealy put up only 21 and gave up 9 after cuero blanked LG while puttin up 41, i know cuero will stop sealy into the ground. i got cuero in a landslide. oh by the way, my favorite part of driving to houston is seeing the "and 1" on the Sealy sign.

Wharton Tigers handled the Sealy Tigers EASILY in their scrimmage. I know, I was there and witnessed that scrimmage and Sealy knows this, even though they probably will deny it. Unless Sealy has improved 200+%, Cuero will take this one with no problems and remain undefeated.

It's usually a tough game no matter how good the two teams are...

16 state finals appearances and 8 State Championships will be represented on that field that night...

sorry i didnt reply so fast, i dont check this every minute that i have....i have better things to do. what la grange did that was great was beating Sealy in Sealy to break the winning streak. and we beat sealy without having to recruit players like sealy did in the early 90s. and before someone says that they didnt, dont you think it was ironic that lechler's brother went to east bernard, but when shane was time, his dad got a job in sealy? ironic....i think not. and i think 98 was the last time sealy beat La Grange. and if i recall correctly, which i am cause i was on the field, La Grange went 70+ yards on the first 2 plays they had the ball in 2000, and LG killed Sealy on their homecomming. And 2 years ago LG beat Sealy in the playoffs. i think thats good enough to say that La Grange did somethings great.

Well, they have won a state title, been to two championship games, been to the semifinals four times and been to the quarterfinals six times in the past 30 years.

That is true that La Grange has done some good things over the years, but so has Sealy. 5 state titles, 6 title game appearances, numerous district championships, etc. I hate to beat a dead horse, but this has been quite a rivalry over the last 10 years. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season!
