yes it was quite a sight to see... of those 245 yards I would guess close to 190 of those came on 3 catches.(3 WR screens) I think he scored on 2 or maybe all 3...

Never would have believed that one player could single handedly beat our defense like that, but Lister sure did with those little screen passes. But his biggest blow had to be that TD right at the end of the 1st half. We are up 14-7 with 20 seconds left and I don't know how he was that wide open cause I was watching the QB but there Lister was at the end of the pass with a clear path to the endzone. That sucked big time....

Not to upset anyone, could be the alcohol talking tonight!

You are absolutely correct gobblerfan02. Lamar found the one thing that worked against us and kept going back to it. Track star or not, it was up to the defense to stop Lister, but they couldn't. And he pretty much single handedly won the game for them. On the upside, if this is the weakness in our defense, we now know what it is & can work to fix it. What really hurts is that we totally dominated them everywhere but on the scoreboard. With 21 1st downs & 448 yds of offense, we should have won this game with ease, but the penalties (11-90 yrds) once again wiped out some big plays. Lamar also parlayed two fumbles into quick TD's. Fumbles have not been a problem so far outside of this game, but the penalties (37 in 3 games) have been the only thing stopping our offense, so hopefully we can get that fixed before district starts.

Damn right... this is why teams with state championships on the mind schedule tough teams...
