View Full Version : Liberty 22 Hamshire-Fannett 7

After looking pretty bad in the first half trailing 7-0, the Panthers came to life scoring 22 in the second half to win their second game of the season. I counted 7 sophmores starting and a couple more getting playing time so this is a very young team and you can tell by alot of the silly mistakes made. However if they mature some more I still think this team can make the playoffs. Next year we should be really strong .

hey liberty traditionally stinks in non-district games....so for them too have wins speaks volumes about the team

i was just reading that warren deblanc carried the ball 25 times for his 128 yards, thats some beast running

but apparently liberty ran it 49 times in the game and passed four times..

and apparently this kid is leading the district with over 400 yards of rushing, even beating out george foremans kid from huffman

as well as leads the houston area 3a schools...wow, oh and BHILL has 1300 yards of offense in their 3 games, guess that's what happens when you play patty cake teams

Dickinson and Vidor weren't patty cake teams. The second team got a bunch of playing time in the Vidor and the Anahuac games. We weren't just padding stats we just played good.

He's got a point. First team didn't play in the second half vs Anahuac, or the fourth quarter vs Vidor. Bh has true deep threat ability now, compared to years past.
