I think it'll be UT's toughest game of the year. OSU's tougher than any team in the Big XII this side of the Horns. I think the Bucks pull it off by less than a FG, I'll say 28-27. The Horseshoe's a tough place to play.

i have to go w/ the horns on this one but not by much a field goal at most

IMO, I see Texas winning by 17+ if Vince Young don't get hurt. If VY gets hurt, Buckeyes by 7.

i honestly wonder if playing a practice squad like ULL will hurt Texas in playing Ohio state, ya know, because it's such a jump in talent....

I dont think that will hurt nor help. I tell ya, I dont think Texas has placed at a place like Ohio Stadium. I know they have played in all these Big 12 stadiums but its a whole different rodeo up there. 100 k fans, playing at night so they have had all day to drink and get rowdy. Texas at a neutral site, Texas by a touchdown, on the road at OSU, dang, I dont know.

OSU's defensive front, potentially best linebacking corps in school history, shuts down ut's rushing attack...and send the horns packing, along with V.Young and his Heisman candicacy.

Need to give Vince Young more credit. The bigger the game, the bigger he plays. I am pulling for the Horns big time in this one. Hopefully the score will be a big time runaway for UT.
"Hook 'em Horns"!!!

UT needs to play big in this game to prove they are for real! I predict they will go into the horseshoe and do what no other team has done in the last 100 years (at night that is)..........WIN. UT by 7 :D

Vince Young runs all over the slow Michigan defense in the Rose Bowl and all of a sudden UT fans thinks he is a god. UT will have a successful season and might win the Big XII but that will be with the best defense they've ever fielded. OSU has two of the best linebackers in the country, both clocked under 4.5 at OSU's pro day this year. Their offense lacks consistency but with Ginn and Santonio Holmes the QB has weapons, but he was suspended for their first game so this is his first start of the season. Final score: 20-10, OSU

I think UT will prevail in one of the best college games of the young season. This should "tell the tale" for the 'Horns if they are National Champ material. Hook em' Horns!

Apologies to G2---I think this thread started out concerning the Ohio-Texas High School game matchup and has evolved into UT vs Ohio State. Couldn't find the "official" UT-Ohio State thread.

I think this game will be close, who ever said it would be a blowout win by texas, obviously has no idea 1st what kind of atmosphere the Horseshoe is,

and B, what kind of team Ohio State is

As much as it pains me to say this, being an Aggie,

I still hope Texas wins, because they're from Texas.

Gotta support our Texas Teams.
