67. Diboll 194

156. Splendora 169

Wonder if Mr. Harris noticed that Splendora shut Diboll out, or if this poll was made before they played. Harris poll usually gets pretty accurate by the time district rolls around.

Looks good except for one thing...

I can see them not in the top 10, maybe even 20, but Silsbee #55?

This guy is on crack  :D

(sarcastic comments btw, cept for the first line)

Wow, I did not notice that... maybe that is why they're not complaining about the ranking... they're ahead of a team that beat 'em...

or maybe cuz they can't face the music...

This is only for the Silsbee folks who complained/cried about them not being ranked high... you other folks feel free to post and I hope your team rebounds...

Silsbee didn't seem that good last year, did they improve since then?

buckeyes district includes #'s 104,110,123,147. the sad part of it is, that's probably right where they belong.

Usually a 10-0 regular season, district championship, and wins over Jasper, Kirbyville, and 3 other playoff teams means you are a pretty good team.....that was one of the better teams Silsbee has fielded in 10+ years........they had a terrible game against Palestine in round 1, but sh** happens. And no, Silsbee has not improved since then.......they aren't as skilled, but should challenge for the district championship again.

Well, then things must be much different than they have looked so far. Jasper ain't exactly Livingston, if you know what I mean. I've seen Jasper this year, and they haven't dropped off from last year. If Silsbee has, it could get ugly.

Things won't get ugly, man... This is Silsbee, they were in the first round of the playoffs last year... you best show some respect, son...

Silsbee just might be 0-3 after Friday as they face an improved Hardin Jefferson team with a great RB.

Silsbee is not good right now. They are struggling with a severe case of fumblitis. As someone pointed out earlier this week, they have had double digit turnovers for the season. You are not gonna win like that. Silsbee was very good last year and to say they were not is ridiculous. To say that is to put down a great Palestine team who beat them in round #1.

All that was stated earlier this year was Silsbee was not listed in the top 40 in only one poll whereas they were in all of the others. Some asked why. There is obviously no reason they should be in the top 100 if they continue with turnovers. Most Silsbee folk have stated they look horrible right now. Jasper is a very talented group and should be the favorites. Gobbla get over yourself here there was no reason to even bring Silsbee's name up at this point.
