Polls can be deceiving....Bridge City (3A) beat Little Cypress-Mauriceville two or three times now with good scores, and yet LC-M is rated #3 in the Thsbmag Poll,. LMC is smoking a solid nine team 4A District....I think you have to look closely at who the teams have played; who they lost to, and who they have beat....Sinton is rated #3, in 3A, but I think they can take out the top two by 6 runs each!

Where's North Lamar? They have 2 losses and have run-ruled somewhere near 80% of the teams they've played.

The regular season polls don't count. Remember that the cream rises to the top once the first season's over.

La Grange is on there way to making another run at state...Its going to be hard for any one to beat the leopards...they are the team to beat...well rounded team...all cyclinders are firing...as for the comment bout sinton beating there by 6...ill give you sinton credit they are also a good team...well round as the leopards our...but i would pick the leopards over the pirates any day...sinton has a good pitching staff...but there one pitcher cant win them all the games in the playoffs..the leopards have an AWESOME staff containing Homer Bailey(#3 in the nation and #1 in the state), Colter Zoch (All-State Pitcher very strong arm), and Jacob K.(which has played extremely well this year) The Leopards use a three man rotation because they our able to not to many teams can do that...LG #1 all the way

LG, Sinton uses a three man rotation also. Their #1 pitcher has yet to lose a game in a four year high school career. Their #2 man was the winning pitcher in last years 3A State Championship game. Their #3 pitcher is pretty good too. Midway through district play, Sinton had outscored their opponents 99 to 1. (They can also hit the ball quite well). Best of luck to the Leopards. Guess we'll see what happens in the playoffs.

Sinton also uses a 3 man rotation. They have their ace, Adrian Alaniz, their #2 guy, Jason Adams (who was the tourney MVP last year) & Omar Gutierrez. Only Jason has had a loss this year & that was to 5A Austin Bowie. A Sinton/La Grange match up would be awesome, see you at the Region Finals wink :D

Sorry, Sinton66...guess I was posting at the same time, but a much slower rate :D

Isn't La Grange in Region III and Sinton in Region IV? If so they can't meet until they get to State in Austin and even then they both will have to beat some good teams to get there first.

LaGrange will never play Sinton this year, they can't make it through Region III bracketing.

THAT'S A BOLD STATEMENT CONSIDERING YOU COULD SAY THAT ABOUT 92 OF THE 96 TEAMS THAT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AND BE CORRECT. WHAT MAKES YOU SUCH AN EXPERT ON LA GRANGE BASEBALL?

We will see--- I know quite a bit about Lorena, Barbers Hill, Hardin-Jefferson, Jasper, Bridge City, Hamshire-Fannett, and several others and I don't think LaGrange has a cake walk like you folks assume. Sorry I cannot agree with you folks, when you just "assume" that you will walk through Region III; and that's been going on on this board for some time now.

No one has said La Grange is just going to walk through region III. They know that they're going to have a tough road. We are just saying that we believe they have the capability to make it to the state tournament. With three great pitchers anchoring their team down. The trash all started when you said you believed La Grange was overrated because of their weak schedule, and started naming off teams that could beat them. They've already beat number 4 yoakum twice, but I don't see you saying Yoakum don't deserve their number 4 ranking. If you haven't seen La Grange play then you are in no position to be making these types of judgements about them. Also the statement about Sinton being able to take out #1 Lorena, and #2 La Grange by six runs each is crazy. I'm not saying Sinton can't beat them, but by six runs each. Thats streching it just a little bit. I'm not sure if it's final yet but La Grange may be meeting up with one of the top ten 4A teams in a warm up game before playoffs. If that isn't tough enough for you then I don't know what is. Lets see what happens.
